Artist and Naturalist Tracey Lee Green leading a Medicinal Wildflower hike at the Hike Haliburton Festival.

Ongoing through out the 2024 Wildflower season.

I would love for you to join me as I lead guided hikes through our local Wildflower hot spots, teaching you the medicinal properties of these incredible plants. I am working with local Adventure Company Yours Outdoors offering these fun & insightful hikes. You will get to sample teas, tinctures and salves all made from local wildflowers. This is an incredible way to reconnect to the land and get inspired. I will share my favourite recipes and send you home with everything you need to do this on your own, wherever you call home!

Many of you have only know me as an Artist. I’ve always known I would be one, but long before that, my love for all things Nature and Environmental were already a huge part of my life. I was raised by an avid Outdoorsman, learning to forage & appreciate nature very young. I graduated in 1993 with two diplomas as a Terrain & Water Specialist from Fleming. I then continued to keep my toe on the local nature scene by sitting on the Environmental Advisory boards to the Town of Orangeville and the Township of Mono as I built my Art Career. Moving to the Haliburton Highlands has been incredibly inspirational and the area has become a boundless muse for my Artwork. This inspiration, combined with my love of Nature, is integral to my work as an Artist, and now I have another avenue to share that love with you!!
