Métis Nature Artist
I am a self proclaimed Nature Nut, Bird Nerd and formally a Terrain & Water Technologist. My love and joy of the natural world informs my mixed media water based paintings. I’ve been infusing Ojibwe text into some of my newest work as a way to connect to my Anishinaabe heritage. The words I choose reflect my state of mind, or emotions, as I am creating that series. I love to play, pushing boundaries of my mediums, and I allow spontaneity and surprise a place in my artwork. You can take one of my workshops which you will find by clicking here. If you see something you like, you can purchase my work at the Haliburton School of Art & Design – Fleming College Red Door Store, follow me on my social feeds, find me in person at local shows and exhibitions, or reach out via direct messaging.
Words of wisdom I’ve taken to heart from Henry Ford; whether you think you can, or whether you think you can’t, you are right!
