Fledgling Bluejay, titled “A Mothers Love”

$1,625.00

24” x 30”

Every spring around the start of June, my local flock of Blue Jays teach their children to come to my house for free peanuts.  I always get a kick out of the juvenile Blue Jays, they look just like their parents, yet they sit on the branch and scream and squawk, furiously flapping their wings, waiting for mom to come and feed them. Not that much different from what my Teenagers used to do!!  Ahhh, Mothers Love,  hence the name of this dynamic piece.  I was influenced by the energy and chaos of the young birds and used that as my inspiration for this painting.

This large painting is acrylic on Yupo paper, permanently mounted onto wood panel. It has a satin varnish for protection and longevity. This piece comes with hanging hardware installed, it is not framed, and the edges are natural wood. It can be displayed as is, or would look stunning framed, the choice is yours!
