Brown Headed Cowbird, titled “Nomadic Casanova”

$125.00

8” x 10”

We don’t see many Brown Headed Cowbirds in Haliburton county, but I’ve seen plenty in my lifetime. Usually, I catch a glimpse of them with Grackles and Starlings. They seem to like travelling with their friends. They are smart, clever birds that have been labelled as parasitic. They lay their eggs in other birds nests and let those birds raise their babies. They believe in the works smart, not hard principle!
