Carolina Wren, titled “In the Twigs”

$80.00

5” x 7”

Carolina Wrens are generally inconspicuous little birds.  They like to flit about in the lower dense foliage of the forests, rarely out in the open, and rarely sitting still for long.  I don’t have much personal experience with these little birds, but they have been spotted in the Haliburton Highlands.  That certainly didn’t stop me from painting one!  I tried out a new technique with this piece, a new ink pen, and I painted on hot pressed 140 lb watercolour paper.
